When we first visited this recent new-build, the kitchen layout simply did not make the best use of the space. The corner where the kitchen sits now was awkwardly sectioned off as a “study area” with an angled half-wall and cabinets that were not functional. Our clients wanted to eliminate the study area and relocate the kitchen with the sink facing the window to their backyard. We were able to keep their walk-in pantry and add a bar area, plus a large island, great for entertaining.
