Gold Fashioned
This Detroit kitchen was small and dark, with brown paneling, and just stuck in the wrong era! We brought style to this kitchen with the use of herringbone white subway backsplash, keeping older elements of the home such as the exposed brick wall. There was a small area between the kitchen and dining room that was dark and didn’t work for our client’s needs. We took two walls down to transform the kitchen into an open and bright floor plan. Since the client’s love to entertain, we wanted a peninsula to allow that and an impressive bar area to enjoy! The stacked cabinets at the bar area add a level of detail that was in line with the characteristics of the house.
