Midori Sour
We had so much fun bringing the kitchen in this Detroit home back to its glory! When we got here, the existing kitchen felt cramped and closed off. The refrigerator jutted out into the room blocking the walkway, the sink was against the back wall, and the range was located in the peninsula. By widening the opening from the hallway and rearranging the placement of appliances, we were able to achieve a much more open and functional space.
Our clients made bold choices in their selections that display their personal style while referencing the art deco period when the home was built. The black cabinets against dark green walls create a striking color palette accented with bronze fixtures. The arabesque marble backsplash with brass inlay adds a beautiful detail. The overall style of this kitchen is a call-back to the era of the house with an updated, modern look.
