Sapphire Martini
We transformed this kitchen to make it more open and inviting while providing more surface space and storage for our clients. Removing the wall between the kitchen and small dining area allowed us to install longer runs of cabinetry and countertops and eliminated tight corners. Replacing the old tile flooring with a hardwood to match the other areas of the house created a cohesive and seamless space that feels much larger. The two tone cabinets, white and grey veined quartz, honey bronze hardware, and floating shelves add a modern twist while the shaker style cabinets add a classic touch. The clients opted for a more interesting shape for their backsplash to add visual texture but the white color keeps it bright. Adding cabinetry to the left and right of the window on the far wall with a bench under the window is a perfect spot for a bar/coffee area and the best lookout perch and napping area for their dog.
