Vesper Martini
Our client’s eclectic taste came together with our savvy design skills to make their kitchen stand out from the crowd. The previous layout was a typical bungalow kitchen with a cramped U-shaped design. We took down walls to create an open concept space, while maintaining the functionality of the dining area.
The clients decided to go with white shaker cabinets as a budgetary decision, so they could put more into higher end appliances and unique aesthetic details featured in the design. The classic white shaker cabinets are styled with mixed and matched hardware, and a double basket weave pattern on the subway tile backsplash gives a new look to a familiar material. The island features a built-in five in one oven, a beverage fridge, and a cherry butcher block countertop. Plus, check out the terrazzo feature tile on the back of the island behind the bar stools.
Often we are working to meet our client’s budget expectations while still delivering their personal style. When both parties keep an open mind and collaborative spirit, we can achieve that common goal and deliver a remarkable kitchen like this one.
