Our designers always work on creating the best layout for our clients as the first step in any design. When we first saw this kitchen, there was a tiny peninsula by the side door, the stove was right next to the doorway to the basement, and there was an entrance from the hallway that went right into a corner creating dead space. By closing in that entrance and moving the appliances, we were able to give our clients a functional layout, much more countertop space, and a peninsula that provides seating for their morning cup of coffee or cooking with friends and family. It’s always important that our kitchen designs look great, but a space that works for the client is the ultimate purpose of great design!
