Fresh Mojito
When designing this space, we thought about how families live today. Taking down the wall that divided the kitchen from the living space made room for a peninsula with adequate seating for entertaining and allows the family to spend time together while completing tasks in the kitchen. The warm wood floating shelves, window sill, and half wall top contrasts with the white and grey veined quartz countertop but keeps a natural feel. The white shaker cabinets are a big change from the dark wood grained mid-century cabinets they had before and helped brighten the cramped, dark original kitchen.
