Long Island Iced Tea
Maybe you can tell what inspired the name of this kitchen! Our client wanted more space in order to fit a large island for entertaining. Off the kitchen was an extra sitting room that was never used, so we took down the wall and raised the sitting room window in order to extend cabinetry and relocate the kitchen sink under the window. We also closed in a pass-through on the wall between the old kitchen and the living room in order to relocate the fridge and add pantry storage. The white perimeter cabinets are accented by a cherry wood island and matching hood. The marble tile backsplash creates a clean, elegant look, with the mosaic behind the range providing a subtle feature.
